My Coaching Philosophy

I believe in getting better every day. You can’t improve everything, every day, but you can improve something today. With the bigger picture in mind, setting clear goals day in and day out is the process mindset that creates amazing improvement.
There is always a goal and an intention when you work with me and you will see that over time consistent effort in working towards and achieving those small goals makes a dramatic improvement in a player’s development.

Working the 2-1 pattern with Austin 🗡 ⚔️ ⠀

A fundamental baseline pattern you should work on running against your opponents to break down their weak side and create space to their strength. ⠀

Check my YouTube for explanations on this pattern. Also know when to run the “pattern breaker” to get out of this when your opponent is the one dictating this play. 🧠 🎾 ⠀

Keep your volleys simple. 👌🏼🎾⠀

A good cue for the forehand volley is to keep the racket close to the ball and catch the volley with your off hand. This will keep the stroke compact, allow you to absorb or add pace and keep you recovering and ready for the next ball. ⠀
